Black Sails exchange

Word is spreading of a new fic and art exchange for Black Sails:

Anyway, nominations opened today and will be open until April 5, and you can nominate characters and relationships (both & and /).

I don't feel ready to try writing any Black Sails yet, so I'm sticking with Night on Fic Mountain for my spring-into-summer exchange needs, but I hope anyone interested out there has a great time!

I'm glad I did! I tried the pilot and was not impressed, so didn't pursue it--and then much later, friends who know me and my tastes were like, give it another try, you will like it.

And I really do. Part of season 1 has a plot that's very rapey, but that plot does end and the character perseveres and thrives and the show gets much better overall in season 2.

I sometimes wonder why I don't see vids coming out of this show. Maybe I'm just missing them. It's true that I don't remember seeing vids for Spartacus much either, and those shows remind me of each other in some ways.

Also I need an icon of Captain Flint, my traumatized ginger rageball.

Yes, same, I saw the pilot and didn't love it, but then I watched a S3 ep with Destina and it was really good. (Don't know which one.)
