dorindaGood gravy was there a POI season finale last night.
So tense! So INtense! It was a real nailbiter, and as it went along it got tighter and things were connecting and everything just kept rolling forward and gathering power and AAAAAAAGH OH NOOOOOOES.
Loved it. I loved the resolution of some loose ends, and the really intriguing introduction of new loose ends. It gave me a lot of food for thought!
It also, of course, gave me emotions. I mean, I have many emotions about events, yes, but more importantly, they have emotions. OH THEIR LITTLE FACES. For instance:
1. Finch doing technological wizardry, and Reese taking time in his headlong-wounded-cornered-flight to react admiringly, telling Finch that even after all this time he still surprises him. And Finch is like, you too. AWWWWWW. I love clam codes.
2. Finch's shock, in the car--his body language and expression, the way he was in total flight-mode, braced back against the door as if it were totally involuntary. Poor Finch...he doesn't do that violent world.
3. REESE'S FACE IN THE BATCAVE. Oh, man. That's a hiatus' worth of angst right there! Turning the chair, looking so intently for something he can't find and can't name, that helpless move of his head as if the turmoil inside him is battering at the gates. And with that LOOK on his face. Sigh!
This season will be a terrific rewatch. ♥
