You know, in late February, a very kind but anonymous soul paid for a year of premium Dreamwidth for me! It's just so kind and so thoughtful, I was verklempt, and yet I never even said thank you.

To that kind soul, Thank You. I'm on DW every day, whether or not I'm posting, and it really helps my morale at all times. Which means that YOU do.

Good news, everyone, we can now use the at sign (@) plus a Dreamwidth username (runpunkrun) to make such usernames as runpunkrun. It works in entries and comments:
Pushed some more tweaks to hopefully improve the Android/mobile experience on comment replies. Also, you can now use "@" followed by a username to refer to people in comments/posts. -M

runpunkrun 's post! The thread here shows how you can use username.sitename with an @ sign, to change the symbol/link to other sites like LJ, Twitter, and AO3. So easy to type!

astolat whipped up an easy to use bookmarklet that makes it super simple to quote & link to someone else's DW post on your own journal. Very handy.

Click the bookmarklet. You should be taken to the Dreamwidth post form with the signal boost content prefilled. You can add any other content you want, copy and paste the content to create posts with multiple signal boosts, etc. Whenever you're happy, you post it like any other post.

I don't know what happened, there was a drift of falling sequins and the faint sound of bells, and someone out there gave me a year of paid DW time. Thank you very much, kind and secret person! And hey, if you felt like posting a comment, anonymous or not, with maybe a fandom you'd like a little something written in for you? I'd be into that.
