Streaming radio for keeps?
Sep. 15th, 2011 09:05 amOn speakitsname.com, I found out that BBC Radio 3 is starting a four-part series this Sunday that's relevant to my interests:
Out In the World: A Global Gay History, "an excavation of same sex desire through the ages, starting with the modern construction of gay identity and its links with the ancient world."
The thing is, it's streaming on Sundays, and not this Sunday but next Sunday I actually have to work--and away from all computers, even (it's a violation of the Geneva Convention!). So I'd love to record the stream, if I can.
Does anyone out there know how to do that? Have any software to recommend? (Especially free, if at all possible...) I'm using OSX, and am still on Tiger (10.4); I live in a household with a more modern Mac OS, but it's not my computer, so I can't guarantee it'll be available for my use every Sunday.
Thanks for any help!
