The spy whisperer
Sep. 4th, 2014 09:33 amThe movie The Horse Whisperer was on TV last night. The cinematography is gorgeous, I can scarcely look away during any of the outdoor scenes. Especially when the sun (or movie lights representing it) hits Robert Redford's golden hair, it's like, arrrghlghlghlllll.
And I do love a movie that's willing to have long scenes with no dialogue, just interaction with a horse (the apotheosis of this: The Black Stallion, man so satisfying). I can do without the romance plotline with Annie; I think it would be enough just to focus on Booker's building dynamic/trust with Grace. But eh, whaddya gonna do.
The reason I mention it is, I had completely forgotten that Grace (the young teenager) is played by Scarlet Johansson. So, should any vidder ever need footage for a Winter Soldier AU showing Alexander Pierce nurturing and hugging a tearful young Black Widow? This movie can provide!
THE MORE YOU KNOW.
