I spy some I Spy video clips!

I Spy fans with eagle eyes! Some friends of mine are making a (secret) vid, and they would love to be able to include a few clips of Kelly and Scotty. If you can think of relevant shots/sequences from the show, would you be willing to pitch in and mention them?

Here are the sorts of visuals they’re looking for:

* Bare skin! The more the better.
* Bathing suits.
* Getting undressed.
* Dancing (well or poorly or wildly or any old way).
* Silly outfits.
* Acting silly.
* Acting slutty.
* Strutting and proud.
* Looking super-hot and sexy.

What are your favorite shots or scenes? Remember that the dialogue won’t be in the vid, so context in the plot doesn’t matter. It’s allllll about the visuals here.

Any thoughts?

I will have to think a bit about most of these. I am separated from my DVDs right now (alas), but a local TV station happens to be airing the show, so I will keep an eye open during my daily viewing. I have mental images for all of these moments, but can't dredge up the corresponding episode titles immediately.

That said, in "The Lotus Eater" there is a good scene of Kelly dancing, and breaking plates while dancing and other fun stuff.

The Seventh Captain has shirtless/underwater and *may* have getting undressed.

Three Hours on a Sunday Night has the teeny-weeny kimonos, doesn't it?

I am remembering a sombrero... This requires rewatching!

*taking notes* Yessss, these are just the ticket. And you're so right about the kimonos! My guess on the sombrero is Maude Murdock, but you never know, maybe they sombreroed themselves more than once. I mean, knowing these guys...

I seem to recall some delightful shirtless scenes in some of the Acapulco episodes. Smoke & Mirrors, I think? (The one where Kelly is brainwashed.)

Mmmmmmm yes. "It's All Done With Mirrors", brainwashy goodness. A perfect example of visuals vs. context, actually--there are some lovely bare-skinned scenes that are also full of Angst and Suffering and (seeming) Partner Betrayal. Scotty walking at gunpoint out to the cliff, for instance... so tense, and yet, so BEAUTIFUL.

Looks like you got a good start on the skin bits.

Doesn't The Trouble with Temple have some dancing? I believe it also has a shirtless Kelly in bad one night as he's talking with Temple on the phone.

I think Philotomo had them both looking exceptionally sharp early on, if I recall correctly.

Of course neither of these boys was particularly shy about shirtlessness. In fact, the more difficult choice might be to list episodes where one or both of them weren't shirtless at some point.

I happen to be watching "It's All Done With Mirrors" right this minute - Kelly shirtless for the entire first scene, Scotty shirtless for the entire last scene. Oh, my eyes, my eyes!
