It's hard to pick a favorite part (or really, a second-favorite part, since Tony pinches Bruce's ass :D ). There is SO MUCH GOOD in here, and it's only four minutes long!

You know, the thing that always strikes me most about reels like this is how much of what we see in the theaters is green-screened -- how little the actors actually see of what they're supposed to be playing against and reacting to.

It reminds me of the "Making of Titanic" special I saw that made it clear that, when Leonardo di Caprio was yelling "I'm the king of the world!" his nose was three inches from a wall...

On the other hand -- butt-pinch, yeah!

So true, on the green-screen--and for some of the Avengers actors in particular, that process requires those motion-capture suits, which to the unprepared eye can look...well, ridiculous. I am triply impressed with the ability to do nuanced acting work under those conditions, and Mark Ruffalo (and others acting with him in motion capture scenes) I am definitely looking at you. It's like the two-ton weight of acting, the actor having to create the sense of reality for himself from pretty much nothing, under extremely unreal conditions, before being able to concentrate on producing a performance for the audience.

(Also, Ruffalo's little *hop* over the debris when he's fleeing the fight is precious. *g* )

Oh my god yes -- it's one thing to play a strong scene when you have setting and costume and everything helping you get in that mindset, despite the eighty bazillions techs and cameras surrounding you -- or even on a stage, where setting and even costume may be blank or stylized, but in a recognized, familiar, "this is ACTING" sort of way -- and a quite impressive other to play it against a blank background, on a giant poofy cushion, wearing ridiculous bodysuits!

I think Mark Ruffalo is the walk-away star of that movie, personally. (Though I have nothing against the others!) Oooh.
