Dear Sundial Exchange creator:

Thanks for making something for me! I know my ideas might sound a little ficcish sometimes, but they're just inspiration for content and tone--I'll enjoy whatever medium you choose to make.

My requests:

1) Guardian Drama: Chu Shuzhi

Feel free to ship him with Guo Changcheng, but if you do, I prefer later-series Guo Changcheng, when he has a spine and his own power. You could also ship CSZ more casually/non-canonically if you want, like with Ye Huo (Wildfire) in a Dixingren-battle-comrade style.

I love CSZ being competent and badass, but along with that I like to see what happens if there's a sudden crack in the shell--he obviously has A Lot Of Feelings roiling around in there, and does not have great coping skills! I'd love to see what happens if he's the one who gets hurt, has to be rescued, etc... how does someone previously so isolated, defined as the strong one, deal with being saved, looked after, cared about?

As I mentioned in my signup, I also loooove the loyalty and devotion Chu Shuzhi has for Shen Wei, and how Shen Wei is worth that devotion. I don't ship them, but I would adore seeing the fealty dynamic turned up to 11--maybe one rescues the other, maybe they're stuck in a bad place, maybe they're cooperating to rescue the other one's beloved (or both beloveds, even). Maybe Chu Shuzhi tries to carry through his offer to die for Shen Wei, even though we know Shen Wei does not ask that of him. Chu Shuzhi would certainly not allow Shen Wei to sacrifice himself for CSZ--but how would he stop him?

Also as I mentioned in my signup, feel free to put Chu Shuzhi in Ye Olde Haixing Era if you want. (How? Who knows--could be explained or not, I'm not picky.) I think a strong and faithful right-hand-man like him would fit right in. Is it also that I'd like to imagine or see him in the clothes? Hmmmm! (...sigh...his shoulders...) :D


2) Guardian Drama: Shen Wei, Zhao Yunlan

Ship them please! But feel free to have plenty of difficulties along the way. These two guys live so dramatically, they're tailor-made for big things--Worry! Rescues! Traumas! The smallest gesture that means the absolute most! But also, I find such intensity in their very small things--little touches, caretaking, food, drink, warmth, one watching the other sleep. Zhao Yunlan so often plays the hedonistic recipient of caretaking, which both of them enjoy--but what if he foists some of this caretaking onto Shen Wei for a change? (And how hard would ZYL have to try, to make Shen Wei be the cared-for one?)

These two are perfect for heroic, self-sacrificial tropes like (as marycrawford aptly calls it) "leave me and go", aka "go on without me", or the h/c trope where one gets hurt to protect the other one (and I bet the other one is mad and worried about it!). Also the trope "character being protected isn't used to being cared about", yum. Each of them cares so intensely about the other, that I think it drives him batty when the other isn't kind to himself and doesn't expect or think he deserves kindness/care.

Feel free to put them in Ye Old Haixing Era if you want--a wilder time, which suits the intensity of their powers, their natures, and their bond. Plus the hair and the clothes, A++++. :D

OMG, this was a pleasure to read, even though I realize it's aimed at a hypothetical person who is probably not me. But look at all those pretty little plot bunnies hopping around!!!

Yay! I'm glad to hear it... I haven't had many ideas lately, and I'm never good at coming up with many specific prompts, so I hope this at least gives people atmosphere, tone, and something to spark their creativity.
